Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate

Departure from Marrakech in the morning, from the first kilometers of the road, you will appreciate the beautiful views of the High Atlas mountains and the passage through the Tizi N’Tichka pass located at 2260 meters above sea level. We will take a break to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a beautiful village suspended on the sides of the mountains, this starry village of towers and arched doors is one of the best sites of the kingdom, a magnificent architectural work, elaborate ornamentation of cob walls, stepped housing and crenellated ramparts. Hundreds of films are shot in this Kasbah: The Diamond of the Nile, Lawrence of Arabia, La Moumie, Gladiateur, 7 jours au Tebet, Babel…etc. Arriving in Ouarzazate, for those interested in Cinema, a visit to the impressive Atlas Film studios can be arranged.

We then continue to the Kasbah Taourirt, for a short visit to this magnificent cultural heritage, a labyrinth of chambers, narrow streets and crenellated ramparts. Dinner and night in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Taznakht – Foum Zguid – Tata

We leave towards the village of Foum Zguid passing through the Anti Atlas mountains, where the landscape is not very desert and the mountains have different shapes. We cross the Sirwa mountains and the village of Taznakhte, a well-known Berber town with its handmade Berber carpets; we continue to Foum Zguid then Tata; a small town located in the middle of the Sahara which is a starting point for tourists who make excursions in this region. Dinner and night in Tata.

Day 3: Tata – Akka – Bouzakarne – Tiznit

At the beginning of our journey, we pass through the villages of the Kasbah and continue the road through the white sand towards Akka, an oasis known by its red houses and its villagers friendly, located on one of the old caravan routes. Then continue via the Kerdous pass to Tiznit, one of the very old cities of southern Morocco. Tiznit was founded in 1881 by Sultan Hassan I, Tiznit is very famous for its silver jewelry business, and one of the most popular tourist destinations in southern Morocco.

Day 4: Tiznit – Tafraout – Agadir – Taroudant

Departure to discover the region of the rocks of Tafraout, the valley of Amelnes and the valley of Ait Mansour. Continuation to Taroudant, the former capital of Souss and one of the typical cities of Morocco, Tour of the ramparts, visit of the souks and discovery of Berber pottery. This city offers more than a total change of scenery: it is famous for its jewelry souk and the craftsmanship of copper, leather and carved stone. Dinner and night in Taroudant.

Day 5: Taroudant – Marrakech

Breakfast, then visit the city of Taroudant or « Little Marrakech », we go back in time by visiting this charming city with perfectly preserved red walls and its magnificent ramparts. Continuation to Marrakech.
