Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora

Departure from Marrakech very early in the morning to better enjoy the beautiful views of the High Atlas and the passage and the small villages leaning against the mountains which follow one another from the first moments of the circuit before to cross the Tizi N’Tichka pass located at an altitude of 2260 meters. As soon as you arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you are invited to take a short break to visit and discover this magnificent architectural work where several films are shot such as: La Moumie, Gladiateur, 7 jours at Tebet, Babel, The Diamond of the Nile & Lawrence of Arabia…

We continue our route to Ouarzazate, then we take the direction of Zagora (about 167 km). Then we reach Agdz, where you will enjoy the first extraordinary views of the Draa Valley and the oases. Dinner and night in Zagora.

Day 2: Zagora – Tansikht -Nqob – Tazzarine-Alnif- Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, departure for Merzouga through unique desert landscapes, dotted with oases. This very beautiful road with many small oases was one of the routes of the greatest caravans in the past. Continuation to the dunes of Merzouga.

You will have a magnificent experience of camel trekking in the Sahara, enjoying the feeling of solitude in the heart of a huge and very calm desert. You have the possibility of spending this night in a bivouac in the middle of the desert and having dinner under a starry sky…. you will also appreciate the dunes of Erg Chebbi, real moving sculptures in the form of draperies whose colors vary with light intensity. They stand like the living defensive walls of the gates of the desert. They can reach more than 150 meters.

Departure to Tinerhir, through the Ziz Valley, surrounded by tamarisk and palm trees. Visit of the palm grove followed by an incursion into the Todra gorges, to the end of the horse-drawn carriage path, along a narrow and impressive canyon. Continuation to Marrakech along the Dades Valley, on the road of 1001 Kasbahs, from oasis to oasis: El Kelaâ des Mgouna (the city of roses), Skoura, Ouarzazate….
