An excursion to the Zagora region is a real journey through time which guarantees you calm, serenity as well as an absolute change of scenery.
This Saharan pearl will allow you to discover an unmissable cultural wealth, both in terms of its architectural heritage made up of a diversity monuments, palaces, ksours and kasbahs dating back to ancient periods that marked the history of Morocco. As well as at the level of its multi-ethnic population of Amazigho-Arab-African origin.
Zagora is also the gateway to escape to the most beautiful dunes in this region, starting with Tinfou , M’Hamid el Ghizlane, Chegaga and N’khila. The Zagora palm grove is a small haven of peace located in the heart of the Draa Valley which has the most impressive and spectacular landscapes of the Moroccan desert.

1st day: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora
Happy, we will take the road to Ouarzazate crossing the High Atlas and the Tizi N’Tichka pass to the wonderful Kasbah of Ait Ben Hadou where we will make a pause to visit this majestic historic palace listed as a world cultural heritage site. It is in this legendary Kasbah where great cinematographic achievements have been shot, such as Gladiator, the Mommy & Seven years in Tibet.
A lunch break to taste the delights of the local cuisine before continuing our excursion to Zagora through the magnificent Draa Valley, a beautiful desert oasis that has retained its originality. About 5 km from Zagora, we will spend an hour riding camels in a sumptuous natural setting where purity and silence reign. Dinner and night in Bivouac.
2nd day: Zagora – The Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, you will be invited to discover the palm grove of Zagora and to discover its diversity and cultural richness during a short morning visit, before setting off to discover the city of Ouarzazate and its famous kasbah of Taourirt as well as a cinema studio. Lunch and return to Marrakech.
